Dr. S. Girijakumari., M.Sc. (N), M.A., Ph.D

Dr. S. Girijakumari has done her PhD in Community Health Nursing/Sociology from Bharathidasan University, Trichy. She holds her Master’s degree in Community Health Nursing and Bachelor’s degree from College of Nursing, SRIPMS affiliated to The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. She has also completed her Masters in Sociology from Annamalai University, Chidambaram. She has 27 years of Academic Excellence, and for all the 27 years she has been associated with College of nursing, SRIPMS making her one of the longest serving academician for College of Nursing, SRIPMS. She has about more than 10 research publications and presentations in National and International Journals and Conferences.

She has been the Chair Person in Public health for TNAI of Tamilnadu State branch for 3 years. She is a life member of TNAI, Public Health Association of India and Association of Gerontology (India). Presently, she is a member of Board of Examination in The Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, and also an Adhoc Inspector and also holds guideship for The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.She is also the current alumni association President of the Alumni Association of the Sri Ramakrishna College of Nursing.

Dr S. Girijakumari is presently, the Principal of College of Nursing, SRIPMS, Coimbatore.
